High-Fat Dairy Linked To 23% Lower Risk Of Type 2 Diabetes

The risk of type 2 diabetes could be cut by eating high fat cheese, yoghurt and eggs, two studies have shown.

People who eat high fat dairy products had a 23 per cent lower risk of developing the disease.

But high fat meat increased the risk.

And having four eggs a week also reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by 37 per cent compared to men who only ate approximately one egg per week.
