Petit Pot Unveils New Dairy-Free Dark Chocolate Pudding

San Francisco –  Petit Pot, famous purveyor of French style puddings, will reveal a dark secret at this June’s New York Summer Fancy Foods with a brand new dairy-free version of its classic Dark Chocolate Pudding. This new pudding is the latest offering in an innovative lineup of delectable dairy-free puddings that use classic French pastry technique on natural dairy-free ingredients. This dessert builds a silky mouthfeel around a rich decadent chocolate experience that makes it hard to believe it’s dairy free.

“We’re so proud of everything we make at Petit Pot, and we want to be able to share these classic French desserts with everyone.” Said Petit Pot Founder Maxime Pouvreau. “Making dairy-free versions of our Pots de Crème has been a goal for years, but it’s taken time to get it right — to craft something we think is every bit as tasty as our traditional recipe. With this dessert we’ve finally achieved dairy-free pudding parity.”

Petit Pot’s Dairy Free Dark Chocolate Pot de Creme joins their new line of vegan desserts, along with their Riz au Lait Coco and Mango Passion Fruit Rice Pudding, rice puddings which use a coconut milk base.  Both health conscious and vegan-customers today demand plant-based alternatives to decadent desserts, and Petit Pot has taken up that challenge over the past year, innovating with dairy-free confections that rivals in terms of flavor the breakthroughs made by brands with savory plant based options like Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat.

Visitors to Summer Fancy Foods can sample the new pudding from June 23rd – 25th at booth #5955
