Promised Land Dairy Supports San Antonio Rodeo As VIP Auction Sponsor

San Antonio, TX – In order to help develop the agricultural leaders of tomorrow, Promised Land Dairy again participated in 2013 as a VIP Auction Sponsor at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition (SALE). Every year, Promised Land Dairy has committed to purchasing the livestock projects that the Future Farmers of America or 4-H high school students raise at the Junior Livestock Auction. The funds the youth receive go towards their scholarship funds or funding their next project animal if they are not yet graduating. The auction this year raised $5.3 million for the youth of Texas!

In 2013, Promised Land Dairy participated in the purchase of 33 different livestock projects and helped expand the opportunities for many very dedicated young people.

Promised Land Dairy helped to raise a portion of these funds by operating a booth on the grounds staffed by outstanding volunteers. The booth sold Promised Land milk, hot Midnight Chocolate, and ice cream supplied by a partner company, Nestle Dreyer's Ice Cream.

This year with 18 sunshine-filled days, Promised Land Dairy had unprecedented sales which allowed them to support even more youth than they had been able to do previously.
