Robert Coallier Named As CEO Of Agropur

LONGUEUIL, QC – Serge Riendeau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agropur cooperative, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Coallier to the position of CEO of Agropur. Mr. Coallier will officially assume his new duties on February 27, 2012, filling the position left vacant by the retirement of Pierre Claprood.

Robert Coallier earned a Bachelor's degree from McGill University and an MBA from Concordia University, and has acquired close to 30 years of management experience in a variety of sectors, including consumer products and retail trade. He has also been a member of many Boards of Directors for a number of organizations, including Agropur for the past two years, where he has been sitting as a guest member of the Board and the Audit Committee.

Mr. Riendeau stated: "With such a remarkable career in the fields of finance, management and global markets, and with his keen sense of organization and his ability to optimize resources, we are delighted that Robert is joining our team. Thanks to his leadership, we are convinced that he will effectively guide our Cooperative through the next phase of its growth and expansion, and that Agropur will achieve new objectives under his direction. This appointment is the culmination of a rigorous screening process within our organization that lasted more than six months".
