Milk moustaches around Kansas City will be different colors and flavors throughout 2013 as the Shatto Milk Company celebrates its tenth anniversary by offering a total of five special edition flavors throughout the year. Each flavor will be presented in a unique half liter bottle featuring a fun word or story associated with the flavor.
The second wildly anticipated limited release product will make its way to local shelves later this week. In recognition of St. Patrick’s Day, the delicious Mint Chocolate Milk will be bottled in its own exclusive “LUCKY” bottle. As with previous runs of special flavors and bottle designs, just 2,000 “LUCKY” bottles were created. Fans of the limited edition flavor will need to act quickly as the Mint Chocolate Milk in these limited edition bottles are as supplies last! Once the limited bottles are gone, the Mint Chocolate Milk will be offered until mid March in our normal pint bottles.
While Shatto Milk Company’s tenth anniversary is not officially until June, 2013, the local family dairy farm has decided to celebrate throughout the entire year. These fun flavors and tongue-in-cheek bottles are likely to get Kansas City consumers even more excited about the family dairy that has become a community fixture.
“It does not seem like it has been ten years since we started Shatto Milk Company”, says Barbara Shatto. “The past ten years have provided a lot of learning opportunities, but most importantly it has provided us the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. We would not be celebrating this milestone without the support of our wonderful customers and the entire Kansas City community. We want everyone to know how thankful we are for their support!”
To commemorate the actual anniversary, the company is planning another Family Day at the Farm event to be held on June 22. And plan on announcing other special events throughout the year.
