Sara Hill Joins Hook’s Cheese Company As National Sales Manager

MINERAL POINT, Wis. – World Champion Cheesemakers Tony and Julie Hook proudly announce the appointment of Sara Hill, a 37-year veteran of the specialty cheese industry, as their company’s first National Sales Manager.
 
Hill’s distinguished career includes previous positions at Olfisco Inc., Classic Provisions and Carr Valley Cheese. Most recently, Hill served as Manager of Cheese Education for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board; during her 10-year tenure, she developed and implemented industry-leading cheese education programs throughout the United States and spearheaded the recent update and re-release of the Wisconsin Cheesecylopedia®. Hill has served as a board member of the American Cheese Society and was inducted into the prestigious Guilde Internationale Des Fromagers in 2013. She is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and leverages her culinary training in her sales and product training efforts.
 
In her new role, Hill will focus on expanding distribution of the award-winning assortment of Hook’s cheeses throughout the United States and increasing the company’s presence at key industry trade shows and events. “It is an honor to have Sara on our team to support our sales and brand-building efforts” said Tony Hook, Founder and President of Hook’s Cheese. “We’re looking forward to bringing our hand-crafted cheeses to a broader audience across the country, and Sara’s deep knowledge and expertise in the specialty cheese category make her the perfect fit for telling our story and teaching the industry about all of the qualities that make our cheeses so distinctive and special.”
