The participating delegation at the Colombia, Land of Flowers Pavilion during the new FLOWERS EXPO 2011 show in Moscow, open from August 30th to September 2nd, was awarded a grand total of 13 gold medals for the quality and novelty of its products. Simply put, this group walked away with the highest number of awards beating out all other event participants.
Companies of note from among the winners in the quality category were: Unique Collection (Proud Rose), Natuflora (Latin Rose), Andes Group (Bohemian Rose), Matina (Dekora Rose), The Plazoleta (2 medals: Green Ball and Alstroemeria), Andean Fields (Freedom Rose), Turflor (2 medals: Banana and Gucci Carnations). Four other companies received gold medals in the novelty category: Inverpalmas (Cherry Rose), Matina (Party Rose), Vuelven (Party Rose), and Andalucia (Star Cherry Mini-carnation). To top it all off, the Proexport and Asocolflores exhibitions were named 'Best at Fair' from among over 200 participants.
