FTD Partners With Florint For The World Cup 2019 Judging Process

Six expert florists from around the world have been appointed to judge the work of the 23 celebrated floral designers competing in the FTD World Cup 2019 in March in Philadelphia, USA. The Jury will employ Florint’s 100-Points System, and consists of these certified, international judges: Thomas Ratschker, Jury Chairman (Germany); Tomas De Bruyne (Belgium); Björn Kroner-Salié (Germany); Allan Jarden (New Zealand); Karen Barnes (United Kingdom) and Deborah De La Flor (United States).

All designs in the FTD World Cup competition will be evaluated using the Florint 100-Points International Judging System, which considers various key design parameters. It is the official system for judging floristry competitions, recognized worldwide. The Jury will evaluate each competitor’s piece individually for the first three criteria (idea, colour and composition). The fourth criteria (technique) will be assessed by all Jury members together. The four criteria must all be optimally met to achieve the maximum 100 points.
