Halls Of New International Floriculture Trade Fair Almost Fully Booked!

Vijfhuizen (Aalsmeer) – Exhibition space in the IFTF, the new international flower trade exhibition, to be held from Wednesday November 3 to Friday November 5 in Vijfhuizen (Aalsmeer), Holland, is filling up quickly.

At this moment over 80% is booked and with 3 months to go it is expected that the trade fair will be sold out completely by the time the fair will open it doors on November 3 (for 2011 exhibition space is scheduled to be enlarged with 50%). It is amazing to see how many national and international floriculture companies have signed up so quickly, joining this new specialised flower trade fair in the first week of November; the ideal week to hold such event, according to the majority in the industry.

“Back to the roots”, as Robert Ilsink from Interplant expressed the new initiative at the launch of a specialised international flower trade show in Aalsmeer, back in January of this year. The organisers expect a total of 200+ companies exhibiting in the -state of the art- former 2002 Floriade Hall in Vijfhuizen. The venue is located on a 20 minutes distance of the Aalsmeer Flower Auction, that is having its own in house trade fair, the FloraHolland Trade fair, for their members at the very same dates and time as when the IFTF expo is being held.

Two excellent trade fairs and a great Open House Program of breeders, growers and traders in and around Aalsmeer, all held in the same week, will guarantee everybody’s satisfaction when visiting each of these events in the first week of November. One could easily conclude that the once world renowned Aalsmeer based international flower trade exhibition in November is back ! Finally, although with (a) new exhibition title(s) and with new management(s)!

The international floriculture industry can again enjoy one of the biggest specialised flower trade happenings in the world in Aalsmeer in Holland. The international trade visitor can do with one airline ticket and one hotel stay in one week to experience the latest developments in world floriculture. Thanks to the participation of over 600 national and international participating companies in different events in the first week of November in Aalsmeer!
