Join The Floral Fun At AFE's 2015 Annual Fundraising Dinner

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The American Floral Endowment (AFE), which has been making a difference in the floriculture industry for more than 50 years, is back with its biggest fundraising event of the year – the 2015 Annual Fundraising Dinner.

Contribute to the advancement of the industry by attending or sponsoring the dinner on Thursday, September 10 from 6 to 9:00 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island in Amelia Island, Fla.

The dinner, which is held in conjunction with the Society of American Florists' Annual Convention, provides the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest Endowment efforts while simultaneously connecting with hundreds of floral industry professionals.

At the dinner, the Endowment will announce new named funds, recognize donors reaching new giving levels, announce new research and provide updates on AFE's latest industry efforts through its research, grant and scholarship projects.

 **Sponsorship Opportunities Available**

The success of the dinner each year would not be possible without the sponsors who contribute their names and financial support to the event.

Sponsorships are a great way to be seen by industry leaders and peers. There are several sponsorship opportunities available (including preferred seating), and all sponsors will be recognized during the dinner, in print materials, on AFE's website and in the AFE Bulletin, which reaches more than 10,000 industry members.

Contributions and sponsorships help offset administrative and dinner expenses, allowing more funding for research, grants and educational efforts that benefit the entire floral industry.

Information is available online at www.endowment.org/?p=421 to purchase a dinner ticket and become a dinner sponsor, which is a significant way to support AFE. For more information, contact AFE Executive Director Debi Aker at (703) 838-5211 or daker@afeendowment.org.

The 2014 dinner raised more than $80,000 for the floriculture and environmental horticulture industry, and this year the Endowment hopes to reach $90,000.
