Weis Markets announced Michael Brody, AIFD, has joined the company as Corporate Lead Floral Designer. In this position, Mr. Brody will help develop and oversee Weis Markets’ full service floral design and arrangement business.
Initially, he will be based in Lewisburg, where he will help oversee floral design in this store and other stores in Union, Snyder, Montour and Northumberland counties. Locally, Mr. Brody is known for his creative floral designs. Prior to joining Weis Markets, Brody worked at the Flower Shop at Country Cupboard. Earlier in his career, he was the proprietor of Dogwood Hill Gifts & Flowers in Lewisburg.
“In recent years, we’ve expanded our fresh flower offering along with special arrangements for weddings and memorial services,” said Lucy Jason, Weis Markets’ Director of Floral Merchandising. “Michael Brody, who has been serving customers in the valley for nearly four decades, is known for his creative floral designs. He will also help train and develop floral associates in other stores throughout the region.”
