More Foreign Visitors At 'Delishow'

From the 12th until the 16th of June, Deliflor Chrysanten presented many novelties and internationally successful cut chrysanthemums during its Delishow, an event that takes place at the same time as the annual FlowerTrials®.

The flower trial enabled visitors to view thriving varieties such as Baltica, Anastasia and Radost in full bloom. New introductions like Estrella, Nevsky, Zembla Brasil and various other cultivars with international market potential also received considerable attention. Flower size proved to be a particularly notable trend. These days, there is a worldwide tendency towards using large spray chrysanthemums in bouquets. For that reason, Deliflor's assortment is especially popular with chrysanthemum producers all over the world. The company also received many compliments regarding its diverse range of disbudded chrysanthemums. In the coming years, there is a lot more to be expected of that particular assortment.

Each June, an increasing number of foreign visitors find their way to the Delishow and prove to appreciate the event. Visitors from all corners of Europe but also from countries as far afield as Malaysia, Japan and Brazil. In addition to all flowering varieties, they were also able to enjoy an attractively furnished central space leading to the Beekenkamp FlowerTrials®. Special creations illustrate how chrysanthemums can be used in many different ways. This area was filled with inspired floral arrangements that all represented a summery festive atmosphere. These days, breeding companies consider their own in-house shows to be worthy alternatives to participation in trade fairs like HortiFair or IPM.
