This year’s FlowerTrials® had been held in the Netherlands from June 15 to 18, 2010. For Selecta this was again a great success! During the four days exhibition in the "Drijvende Kaas," the floating greenhouse on the grounds of Flora Holland, we could present our visitors nearly our complete assortment of bed and balcony plants in best quality. The number of national and international visitors, more than 1000 people came to see our show, was more than satisfactory. In the special atmosphere of the Selecta exhibition they could learn a lot about our novelties and assortments.
The presentation of our world novelty in Osteospermum, the FlowerPower® Double varieties that were presented for the first time to a broad audience, deserves special notice. Besides the three new double varieties FlowerPower® Double White, FlowerPower® Double Pink and FlowerPower® Double Purple we showed our visitors also the comprehensive FlowerPower® marketing concept with printed pots, posters and banners. Another highlight of the exhibition was the attractive presentation of our colourful Trixi® programme with all new varieties. Besides combinations consisting of varieties of one species, like Calibrachoa, Verbena, Lobelia and Portulaca, we are able to offer our clients now also combinations of different species: Trixi® Lemon Sorbet or Trixi® Berry Fields are only 2 examples of these beautiful eye-catcher!
Many purchasers use the FlowerTrials® to choose their assortments for the coming season thus the exhibition is an ideal platform for gathering information about assortments and product developments.
