Terra Nova Nurseries Introduces New Retail-Ready Varieties

CANBY, Ore. – Terra Nova Nurseries announced three new introductions now available to garden centers, including Sedum ‘Dynomite’, Agastache ‘Violet Vision’ and Heuchera ‘Glitter’. These three fall-flourishing plants contribute to a dynamic and varied cool-weather inventory.

Consumers desiring a lush, romantic-style garden will be drawn to the dusky-pink shades of Sedum ‘Dynomite’. In its short size and density, Sedum ‘Dynomite’ mirrors other sedum varieties like Sedum ‘Hot Stuff’ and Sedum ‘Beach Party’. However, the new Sedum ‘Dynomite’ brings a stirring shock of rose-red flowers and dark, dreamy foliage to a garden. For optimal performance, ‘Dynomite’ requires mineral soils with good drainage and full sun exposure. The average size of this variety is 6” Width / 11” Height / 7” Flower Height and it grows best in zones 4 – 10.

Agastache ‘Violet Vision’ also brings glamour to a garden with its bold honey-licorice scent and lavender shades. Butterflies are particularly attracted to these purple beauties and are known to flock to areas where Agastache ‘Violet Vision’ are planted. The average size includes 18” Width / 18” Height / 24” Flower Height and it grows well in zones 5 – 10. Hardy, vigorous and extremely disease-resistant, ‘Violet Vision’ is great for mid-borders or as a container stand-out. It has an upright, clumping habit and requires well-drained, fertile soil and full sun.

Silver, glistening foliage crowns Heuchera ‘Glitter’ throughout the year. Black veins create a striking contrast with both the angelic silver foliage and this plant’s fuchsia-pink summer blossoms. In addition, Heuchera ‘Glitter’ has an ultra-neat, clean habit, making it easy to grow and maintain. For optimal performance, ‘Glitter’ requires sun to shade exposure and well-drained, organic soil. This variety has an average size of 11” Width / 10” Height / 15” Flower Height and is best for zones 4 – 9.
