Elmwood, WI's Sailer's Food Market & Meat Processing Wins National Recognition

Sailer's Food Market & Meat Processing in Elmwood won national recognition at the American Cured Meat Championships (ACMC) held July 18-20, 2013 in North Charleston, South Carolina, in conjunction with the 74th Convention of the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP). The ACMC annually draws hundreds of entries from across the entire United States.  This year there were 647 entries in 27 product categories.

Sailer's Food Market & Meat Processing was awarded 1st Place, Grand Champion, in the Meat Snack Sticks class; 3rd Place, Champion, in the Heavyweight Bone-In Ham and Specialty Game Meats classes; and 4th Place, Reserve Champion, in the Heavyweight Bacon class.  All entries were judged on the basis of aroma, flavor, eye appeal, color and texture.

Sailer's Food Market & Meat Processing is a member of the American Association of Meat Processors, the nation's largest trade organization representing small businesses in the meat/food related industry.
