Friesland, Wisconsin– (April 12, 2010) – Alsum Produce, Inc., has changed its name to Alsum Farms & Produce, Inc., to better reflect its long-term growth plans and commitment to locally grown produce.
The company will continue its growth through innovative new potato products, expanded offerings in fruits and vegetables, continued improvement in sustainable practices, and by building awareness of Wisconsin potatoes.
In addition to its name change, Alsum Farms & Produce has developed a new logo with the tagline, “Integrity from field to fork.” According to President and CEO Larry Alsum, the new name, logo and tagline are representative of the company’s commitment to all of its business partners and how it has conducted business since its founding in 1973.
“We have enjoyed growth in all aspects of our business since our beginning, and we are looking forward to mutual growth with our business partners in the future. We are very thankful for their support and loyalty,” Alsum said.
