Big-box stores have become a staple for shoppers, offering an array of products for home and garden, including building materials, clothing, furniture, appliances, office supplies and everything in between. Some, like Wal-Mart and Costco, even offer groceries.
Delaware’s retail landscape also has an unusual big-box variation: a store specializing solely in produce – and lots of it.
Indeed, Produce Junction in Dover offers a dazzling array of fruits, vegetables, flowers and dairy products in a space so big it used to be a Tiger Mart.
“The big selection is our specialty,” said Produce Junction spokesman Christian Laino.
