Duda Farm Fresh Launches Florida Citrus Cookbook Promotion

In conjunction with the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) – Duda Farm Fresh Foods will include a coupon for a free Florida Citrus cookbook on their Florida citrus bags. The 85-year-old, family owned, nationwide fresh fruit and vegetable company understands the importance of value-added promotions and that is why they were excited to partner with the FDOC.

“This is a great opportunity to bring additional value to the consumer,” explains Mark Bassetti, Senior Vice President of Duda Farm Fresh Foods. “Offering a free Florida citrus cookbook is a convenient way for consumers to explore the variety of options our citrus products provide.”

The coupons will be included on Dandy® brand Florida oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. After purchasing a 3 pound or larger bag of these citrus products, the consumer redeems their coupon along with receipt of purchase to the FDOC for their free Florida citrus cookbook. The cookbook is filled with 34 recipes and color photos including contemporary citrus dishes as well as traditional favorites. In addition the cookbook contains information about citrus nutrition, varieties, seasonality, selection and storage. The coupons must be redeemed with the FDOC by May 31, 2011.
