Pero Family Farms Pink Ribbon Produce Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Produces Big Results

Delray Beach, FL – During the month of October, Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC is helping support Breast Cancer Awareness as part of the Company’s charitable giving program, “Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC- We support…Early Detection. Cure. Prevention."

“This is our first year partnering with Pink Ribbon Produce and we are pleased to have developed a sound relationship with them. We were first introduced to them through a retail partner in the Midwest, Meijer, and we saw an opportunity to go above and beyond for this cause. We thank Meijer and all of our retail partners for helping us offer our vegetables to consumers so we can all make a difference together,” states Frank Pero, Executive Vice President. “With the extensive reach of our fresh vegetables across many U.S. Regions, well more than 1 million packages of fresh vegetables are being stickered to help drive awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

“Breast cancer is an issue that impacts many women and their families across the country – unfortunately, almost all of us know someone who has been affected by this disease,” said Peter F. Pero IV, CEO and Chairman, Pero Family Farms. “Supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation ® is a natural cause for us. Our produce is meant to help everyone eat healthier and be healthier by eating nutritious and safe produce. Through this campaign and our contributions, Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC will be aiding in research and prevention efforts, which are critical initiatives in the fight against breast cancer. We are proud to see our industry supporting this cause and we are pleased to have made a connection with Pink Ribbon Produce this year. We hope to continue making a positive impact with them well into the future.”
