Retail Organic Fingerlimes Now Offer Operating Instructions

“The new affordable Fingerlime packaging is catching on”, notes an exuberant Richard Leibowitz, President of Culinary Specialty Produce. We will have them in some stores for New Year’s and that’s perfect. Now that we have found a reasonable way for retailers to market the “caviar lime”, we want to make the buyer and the consumer aware of all the possibilities this amazing citrus has to offer.”

Mr. Leibowitz was referring to the new tri-fold pamphlet that is available to educate buyer and the consumer. “The print out is done in house on so we can easily change the content in moments, Leibowitz continues. “By changing photos, content and focusing on specific recipes we can show the versatility of the Fingerlime in the seafood showcase, grocery isles, bakery, prepared food section, and of course in the produce aisle. We are also developing an on line recipe library that customers will be able to access through our website and Facebook page.

Brian Murphy, President of Goodness Gardens and partner with Culinary in packaging and distribution agrees. “Along with the ability to change information on the pamphlet we can change the label just as quickly", said Murphy. “We are currently developing two labels that will be ready in early January. One will be organic and the other conventional so we can service both markets and maintain year round availability. We can also private label. Each pack size will have its own UPC code and we can enter the piece count order by order. Our customers have shown great interest in this packaging and we will begin trials mid January. We have also developed master for shipping outside of our region as we have had response by retailers throughout the country.”
