Watsonville, CA – Change is in the air for the sales and marketing team at Monterey Mushrooms with recent hires, restructuring and current job openings.
We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our sales and marketing team, Erica Manfre. Manfre will be assuming the role of Sales Manager based out of our hometown, Watsonville, CA. Manfre will be responsible for maintaining relationships with customers and will seek new opportunities.
“Erica’s career path has given her many of the skills we’re looking for in a sales manager,” said Kevin Eichele, Western Region Sales Director and Manfre’s direct supervisor. “She’s proven to come up with creative ways to drive business initiatives and her experience in produce distribution will bring an interesting perspective to our team.”
“I am excited to add Erica Manfre to our sales team,” said Mike O’Brien, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Not only will she bring a focus on customer relationship quality to our team, but she will bring new insights and exuberance to an already talented group.”
In addition, we’ve established a marketing internship program under the leadership of Lindsey Roberts, Marketing Specialist. Roberts reports directly to Mike O’Brien, VP of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for managing marketing and branding objectives, strategies and product expansions. She collaborates with sales, product development and procurement to execute new concepts and position Monterey Mushrooms as an innovator in the mushroom industry. New this year, Monterey has included inbound marketing efforts to increase overall mushroom consumption in North America.
But wait, there’s more. We’re also hiring an additional sales manager who will be responsible for managing business out of their home office in a city that logistically makes sense to maintain business relationships with accounts in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.
