Vision Produce Company has announced the promotion of Nancy Betancourt to Vice President and Donald Souther to Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development.
Bill Vogel, President of Vision Produce Company, has expanded the senior management team at the company. Vogel stated, “I have placed Dan Lawton, Vice President of Sales to oversee the inside sales management. Donald Souther, newly appointed Vice President, will assume the supervision of all marketing and customer development for not only Vision Produce Co but also for Vision Import Group. Bart Sgambati, the CFO is in charge of all administration, operational aspects, and banking.
Our product categories are managed by Dan Lawton, Nancy Betancourt, Robert Stauffer in Los Angeles, and by John Caldwell in Phoenix. Allan Acosta who recently joined our team in Phoenix as Vice President of Operations will partner with John Caldwell in management of both produce and trucking operations. Allan’s procurement experience will also serve to help Vision Produce Co in both Los Angeles and Phoenix, as well as Vision Import Group in New Jersey to access additional grower programs south of the Border. This includes our La Vision Honey Dew program out of Caborca, Mexico which is starting its second season of production approximately May 20th.
Additionally, Vogel says: “we have a management team in place now that will propel an already successful enterprise to greater heights. They will be focused on our relationships with growers, vendors and customers that have served us well over the last 34 years. We credit our growth to top notch customers who demand excellence from us in both service and product. It’s all about good execution.”
