Farm-To-School Program Offers Locally Grown Food In Lewis, St. Lawrence Counties

POTSDAM — A new state-funded farm-to-school program will provide school districts in Lewis and St. Lawrence counties with locally grown, farm-fresh food.

The program is run by St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES, Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County and Big Spoon Kitchen.

Products will include a salsa mix using local produce, baby carrot coins, apples, cucumbers and sweet potatoes.
