From farm to fork, the hotel has forged a partnership with The Nunes Company and Blazer Wilkinson LP to integrate locally grown Foxy brand strawberries and fresh vegetables into every aspect of the guest experience.

This summer, the property will highlight locally-grown produce with The Nunes Company, a fifth generation family-owned and operated grower out of Salinas, offering premium quality fresh vegetables like romaine lettuce, kale and sweet baby broccoli. The strawberries are grown, packed and distributed through Blazer Wilkinson LP from the Salinas Valley, with over 30 years of experience in the produce industry, specializing in strawberries.

Having been grown in intimate micro pockets that trap cool air along California’s Central Coast, Foxy strawberries are harvested by trained crews who hand select each strawberry. The strawberries are then cooled and transported to Schooners Coastal Kitchen & Bar in less than a day, where they will be incorporated into cocktails, entrees, desserts and even spa treatments at the Vista Blue Spa!
