Harris Teeter Inc. has added a yearly payment option for its growing base of online shoppers.
The North Carolina-based grocery chain will offer its Express Lane online shopping option for an annual fee of $99.95. That will allow shoppers to place orders throughout the year without incurring additional charges. Other payment options include a fee of $4.95 per order or $16.95 per month.
Harris Teeter employees load the groceries into the shopper’s car and can process payments curbside. That service is now available in 150 locations, including the McHenry Row and Canton Crossing locations in Baltimore and stores in Columbia and Ellicott City.
