Kroger Co. is still shopping for acquisitions, but it’s pretty picky about what it buys.
That was one of the messages CFO Michael Schlotman passed along to an audience of analysts and investors on Tuesday at BMO Capital Markets’ Farm to Market Conference. Despite the folksy, country sound of the conference’s name, Schlotman traveled to New York City for the event.
