You will be able to pick up groceries, including staples like meat, produce, dairy and baked goods, and prescriptions at Meijer. You’ll also be able to shop for clothing or electronics, and browse its garden center, too.
The stores will offer special promotions for their grand openings.
The company announced its plans to expand into Northeast Ohio in 2015, and after years of controversy dropped a plan to build on the old Geauga Lake site in Bainbridge Township. Mejiers expects to open 11 more stores in Northeast Ohio in the next five years. The next two stores are scheduled to open in 2020 in Brimfield near Stow and in Lorain.
