Piggly Wiggly Midwest will add three stores in northern Illinois to its roster at the end of the month, it said in a news release Monday.
The Wisted’s Supermarkets in Marengo, Woodstock, and Huntley, Ill., will convert to Piggly Wiggly starting July 31, the release said. Harold Wisted will continue to own the stores.
Piggly Wiggly Midwest, in Sheboygan, will now own or supply 104 Piggly Wiggly stores in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, along with nine Butera Markets and two Eurofresh stores in the Chicago area, the release said.
