For commercial seafood processors in companies large and small, it's that time of the year again; time to answer the call for market ready products competition for the annual Alaska Symphony of Seafood.
The deadline is Jan. 16 for consideration of the 2013 event, which will be the symphony's 20th anniversary.
In years past, over 350 new products have been featured in competition at the symphony, and winning products have resulted in millions of dollars in sales for their producers, said Jim Browning, executive director of the Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation.
