Pacific Seafood Las Vegas Receives Coveted BRC Certification

PORTLAND, Ore. – Pacific Seafood Las Vegas, located in Las Vegas, Nev., was told by their auditor that they had received an “A grade” in their BRC inspection, the highest level certification, on their processing facility on December 7, 2012.

The Las Vegas facility processes several species of fin fish including salmon and steelhead fillets, as well as shell fish such as crab. The certification confirms that the highest standards have been met in the areas of food safety and hygiene. “This certification further assures our customers that they are buying from a company that has raised the bar on sanitation and allergen awareness,” says Las Vegas Operations Manager, Anthony Bonick.

This BRC certification is in line with the company goals relating to the fulfillment of our Pacific Advantage™ initiative and its commitment to food safety through verifiable quality assurance. Stewardship, sustainability, and traceability, also components of the initiative, add to the support for responsible management practices.
