Potential Buyer Cited In National Fish Lawsuit

National Fish & Seafood and Tampa Bay Fisheries remain locked in a messy lawsuit that involves accusations of corporate espionage, but it was a different story a year ago.

Last October, the two might have been on their way to becoming corporate siblings instead of competitors.

According to documents filed as part of the lawsuit, Red Chamber Group, the corporate parent of Florida-based Tampa Bay Fisheries, considered buying National Seafood & Fish when the Gloucester-based seafood processor was posted for sale last year by its holding company, Pacific Andes International Holdings.
