Heinen’s grocery store is voluntarily recalling Heinen’s Own Crab Dip with a sell by date of 7/29/2011 listed on the package. The batch involved in this voluntary recall contained 451.50 pounds of which we sold 204 pounds. This product is packaged in 8 ounce, 16 ounce, and 32 ounce containers.
This product was produced on 7/22/2011 and distributed to all 17 Heinen’s stores.
Heinen’s is issuing this voluntary recall due to a metal fragment found in one of the packages of Crab Dip. There has been no illness or injury related to this product.
