NYC Sushi Gets Beefed Up

On International Sushi Day, the North American Meat Institute is kicking off its Beefshi debut on NYC restaurant menus. Beefshi is an innovative new sushi-style concept that features convenient beef products like pastrami, roast beef, summer sausage, hot dogs, corned beef and bologna prepared in rolls with rice and vegetables.

On International Sushi Day, the North American Meat Institute (NAMI), a contractor to the Beef Checkoff, and the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) are joining forces to celebrate America’s love of beef and sushi with the final showdown of the 2020 Beefshi Battle.

Beef Industry Satisfies America’s Yen for Sushi

The North American Meat Institute, a contractor to the Beef Checkoff, is celebrating America’s love of beef and sushi during National Deli Meat Month this March by shining a light on Beefshi. Beefshi is a creative, new culinary concept that uses prepared beef products like bologna, summer sausage, corned beef and pastrami as central ingredients in sushi.
