Danone Institute North America (DINA), a not-for-profit established by Danone North America, today announced the five winning teams of the DINA Sustainable Food Systems Initiative – a grant program that promotes resilient and sustainable local food systems. Each of the five teams from Harvard University, McGill University, Tufts University, University of Tennessee Knoxville, and University of Texas Austin will receive $50,000 USD in grant funds to develop and execute their community-based projects.

One Health” Initiative.

Danone Institute North America Offers Training to Boost Local Efforts Toward More Sustainable Food Systems

Danone Institute North America, a not-for-profit established by Danone North America, recently hosted an in-person training program for grant winners from its “One Planet. One Health” Initiative. This initiative promotes resilient and sustainable local food systems by awarding five teams from the US and Canada with $30,000 USD to develop and execute their community-based sustainability projects and sponsoring their participation in a sustainability-focused training in Boulder, CO.

Danone Institute North America, a not-for-profit established by Danone North America, today announced the five winning teams of the “One Planet. One Health” Initiative – a grant program that promotes resilient and sustainable local food systems. Each of the five teams will receive $30,000 USD in grant funds to develop and execute their community-based projects that will impact five distinct communities in the United States and Canada: Edmonton, Alberta; Lincoln City, Oregon; Nanaimo, British Columbia; New York City; and San Luis Obispo County, California.
