OBI Seafoods Employees Lead Ukraine Aid Efforts

As Ukraine’s humanitarian needs continue to rise, OBI Seafoods is expanding its support for relief efforts in the war-torn country and in support of their Ukrainian employees. The efforts, started and led by OBI employees, Maryna Molokopoi and Douglas Impagliazzo, have assisted those displaced by war with relocation, food, medical care, and housing.

Nebraskan Company donates 67,600 Lbs of Beef to Ukraine

When Henry Davis, CEO of Greater Omaha Packing, saw photos of war-torn Ukraine, he mobilized the company to action. Now, 27,600 pounds of ground beef have arrived on Ukrainian soil in two separate shipments, and an additional shipment of 40,000 pounds is set to arrive in July.

IBO Announces Poland as Host Country for 2023 Summit and Solidarity With Ukrainian Blueberry Growers

The International Blueberry Organization (IBO) has announced that the forthcoming IBO Summit will take place in Lublin, Poland from 3-5 July, 2023. The IBO hopes to support the growth of a sector which was worth US$2.1 billion in 2019, according to the USDA, while at the same time highlighting Ukraine’s blueberry industry in a show of solidarity.
