ACE Bakery: It's Time To Break Bread & Dine Alfresco

TORONTO, ONTARIO — After the winter we just experienced, the prospect of summer being just around the corner is so thrilling, we simply cannot wait any longer to cook and entertain outdoors. It's time to rejoice again on patios, barbecues, and having delectable meals alfresco.

As if that wasn't enough, ACE is introducing a new line of gourmet burger buns to accompany those juicy grilled BBQ creations, and also a brand new line of Crostino to boost your salads, soups, and pastas.

"Crostino" is Italian for "little toast", made using ACE Bakery White Baguette and Focaccia, with all natural premium ingredients and no preservatives. They are great in salads, but please don't stop there. Try them in soup, on top of baked pasta, in stuffing, or as a wonderful snack right out of the bag. Available in Roasted Garlic or Grated Parmesan flavours.

ACE's new line of gourmet buns include Rosemary Sesame Gourmet Burger Buns, Classic Gourmet Burger Buns, Roasted Onion Gourmet Brat Buns and Cheddar Ciabatta Gourmet Buns. The light and airy burger buns have a soft golden crust, which makes them perfect for a good old fashioned Beef Burger with Avocado and Honey Mustard, or for something different like our Marinated Chicken Sandwich with Herb and Lemon Aioli. With hints of aged cheddar and a thin crisp crust, our Cheddar Ciabatta works well for sandwiches such as Ham and Egg with Avocado and Chipotle Sour Cream. Or try Sage and Honey Pork Sausage with Fennel and Apple Slaw on our Roasted Onion Brat Bun.

Let the summer begin…

About ACE Bakery

One of North America's leading artisan bakeries, ACE Bakery opened in 1993 creating handmade, European-style rustic breads. The gentle shaping of each loaf, long fermentation periods, and a stone deck oven all work to create exceptionally flavourful bread with a pleasing texture and crisp crust. The breads contain no preservatives and are made with the finest ingredients. ACE Bakery's baguettes and artisan breads are available at hundreds of restaurants, hotels, caterers, grocery and gourmet food shops across Canada, throughout the United States, and the Caribbean.

Community involvement is an essential part of ACE's philosophy. The company donates a percentage of its net profits to charitable organizations in the principle centres where ACE breads are sold. ACE's focus is on food and nutrition programs that assist low-income members of the community, financing culinary scholarships and supporting organic farming initiatives.
