Stone Ground Baking Company at 29105 Canwood St. in Agoura Hills filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy on Nov. 18, court records show.
The petition filed with U.S. Bankruptcy Court said the highend kosher bakery owes $120,600 in unpaid debts to vendors. A court appointed receiver was named to oversee the businesswhile the company’s two owners battle over culpability.
In August, the bakery moved from 5005 Kanan Road to a bigger storefront on Canwood Street, but was unable to meet financial obligations.
The restaurant provided retail and wholesale baked goods to the community.
