The Executive Search Committee of the AIB Board of Trustees has completed a five-month nationwide, professional search process and is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Andre Biane to the position of President & CEO of AIB.
Mr. Biane is a food executive with over 30 years of extensive experience in quality systems implementation, technology translation, strategic planning, organization design and leadership. Mr. Biane has held several executive positions, including VP of R&D and Quality, and VP of Product Development with Sara Lee; VP of R&D and Quality with the Earthgrains Company; multiple Quality positions with Eagle Snacks and Anheuser-Busch Companies; and Managing Partner of ABusiness Solution, LLC, a consulting company to multiple Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Biane is well qualified to continue AIB’s growth of services and international reach in the coming years.
Mr. Biane replaces Mr. James Munyon, President & CEO of AIB over the past 8 years. Mr. Munyon is stepping back from full-time positions, after nearly 38 years in the food industry, as a food executive with Carnation Co., Nestle Co., Simplot Co., and AIB.
Mr. Munyon will be assisting Mr. Biane in a transition period to begin March 11, 2013.
