An Indiana-based bread company plans to donate 1,000 loaves of bread to Jackson residents in need for this holiday season.
Aunt Millie’s plans to deliver 800 loaves of bread to the nonprofit Together We Can Make a Difference on Nov. 21 and 200 loaves to the Allegiance Health Holiday Food Drive on Dec. 15, according to a news release.
The company is also delivering 2,400 loaves of bread to the Battle Creek-based Food Bank of South Central Michigan, which serves several food pantries in the Jackson area.
