A local food manufacturer is making an investment in new space that will help it add jobs.
Smart Baking Co. LLC will invest more than $1 million in renovations to its new 50,000-square-foot location at 210 Springview Commerce Drive in Debary. The plant will add on to the Sanford-based firm’s presence in the area, and should be completed by the start of 2020, a company spokeswoman told Orlando Business Journal.
The project is in the design phase. Construction should start on Oct. 1 and be completed mid-December for the plant opening on Jan 1.
