Corbion Purac, an expert in biobased food ingredients, will be showcasing its extensive portfolio of label-friendly ingredients at the latest edition of Food ingredients Europe in Frankfurt, Germany. Visitors to stand 8A39 will get the chance to discover the company's wide range of natural food preservation, fortification, sodium reduction innovations, including its latest food integrity innovation, Verdad Powder F80.
The main highlight of this year's show will be Corbion Purac's successful Verdad® range of label-friendly ingredient solutions. Suitable for a wide variety of fresh and ready-to-eat foods including meat, bread, sauces and salads, these fermentation-based ingredients enable processors and retailers to clean up product labels, while improving the physical and sensory attributes of their products. Building on its previous successes, Corbion Purac has entered the recently introduced Verdad® F32 and Verdad® Powder F80 into this year's FiE Excellence Awards.
Also on show will be Corbion Purac's innovative sodium reduction solutions, including PuraQ® Arome NA4 and PURASAL® HiPure P Plus. Winner of last year's Fi Excellence Award, PuraQ Arome NA4 is a naturally-derived ingredient that allows food processors to reduce sodium content by up to 40%, while maintaining product quality and shelf life. PURASAL HiPure P Plus is part of Corbion Purac's portfolio of natural lactates and can reduce salt content while retaining or even extending shelf-life. It has also been proven to possess the cleanest flavour profile on the market, according to tests.
Another highlight at the stand will be PURAC FIT Plus, Corbion Purac's multi-purpose acidulant for beverages. A unique, neutral tasting, natural lactic acid PURAC FIT Plus effectively regulates pH levels to support flavor optimization, extend shelf life and reduce precipitation-scaling, even in taste-sensitive applications.
FiE 2013 will be the first Food Ingredients Europe for Corbion Purac since the company re-branded earlier this year. Visitors to the stand will be able to speak to market experts and technical advisors about specific applications and find out more about the company's ongoing transformation into a leading provider of biobased food ingredients.
