FARGO – When what is now Dakota Specialty Milling opened its doors 50 years ago, they only milled two items and purchased two others for production.
Today, the family-owned enterprise supplies about 200 products to their customers throughout the U.S. and 13 other countries.
“(We) sell over 10 million pounds of finished goods a month,” CEO Peter Matthaei said. “We have millions of people consuming our ingredients when it gets out to the retail side of it.”
