Sterling Foods LLC has been awarded a $14.1 million second-option year on a Department of Defense contract to supply polymeric traypack bakery items for the military.
The baked goods will be shipped to Army and Marine Corps installations.
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia is managing the contract with fiscal 2013-2014 Defense Working Capital funds.
