TORONTO – George Weston Limited today announced the appointment of Pavi Binning as President of George Weston Limited. In making the announcement, W. Galen Weston, Executive Chairman, noted that "Since he joined George Weston a year ago as Chief Financial Officer and before that as a director of Loblaw Companies Limited, Pavi has made a substantial contribution to the Company and its operating subsidiaries. The Board and I are looking forward to working with Pavi in his new role. In due course we will announce a new CFO, but until then our current senior finance team will serve us very well under Pavi's direction."
