Grand Central Bakery plans to open a new retail location in Cedar Mill later this year.
The new location will take over a former 7-Eleven at 12595 N.W. Cornell Rd. in the Cornell Plaza shopping center.
In a press release, company president Ben Davis said the new space will have 2,200 square feet and 30 shared parking spaces. A remodel will begin in a few months.
This is the first Washington County location for Grand Central, which runs six retail bakeries in Portland and three in Seattle, with wholesale operations in both cities.
