John B Sanfilippo & Son, a processor, marketer and distributor of baking nuts, snack nuts and nut-based products, has appointed Christopher Gardier as the new vice president of consumer sales.
Mr Gardier is assuming the role from Ron Williamson, current vice president of consumer sales, who is retiring in fall 2010.
Mr Gardier comes to John B Sanfilippo & Son from the Hain Celestial Group. At Hain, he was the vice president of retail sales in the natural division. His previous experience also includes senior management positions at Pepperidge Farm, Frito-Lay and Kraft Foods.
