KCB Issues Allergy Alert On Possible Eggs In “KCB No Eggs Added Cake Rusk 28oz”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Kashmir Crown Baking, LLC of Linden, NJ, is recalling its “KCB No Eggs Added Cake Rusk (28oz)” Cake Rusk, made to expire on February 8th, 2011, because it is possible that they may contain eggs. People who have allergies to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled “KCB No Eggs Added Cake Rusk (28oz)” were distributed in retail shops in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Maryland.

This product comes in 28oz (800g), green, square paper carton package, titled “No Eggs Added Cake Rusk” with an expiration date of 2/08/11 pasted in the back of the packaging. Barcode: 012042 00109 9.

An allergic reaction was reported to the company, which initiated the recall.

The company is taking further actions to make sure that every product is clear of fault; and reaches its customers safe, healthy and with the highest quality.
