The Lancaster Food Co. has temporarily stopped baking bread after an expected $250,000 infusion fell through “at the last minute.”
As a result, the company said Sunday, it has laid off all of its 20 employees and is “in considerable danger of permanently shutting down.”
Lancaster Food, located on Commerce Park East off Greenfield Road, posted the statement on its Facebook page.
