Pan-O-Gold Baking Company Awards Thousands To Upper Midwest Schools

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Several Midwest schools completed the 2012-2013 school year ahead of the curve, thanks to their participation in Pan-O-Gold Baking Company's Loaves 4 Learning customer loyalty program. Thousands of dollars were distributed to the schools, which earned 5 cents for each UPC collected from Country Hearth and Village Hearth breads, buns and muffins.

The Loaves 4 Learning program is open to public and private K-12 schools throughout Pan-O-Gold's distribution area within nine Upper Midwest states. Schools must register to participate and can earn up to $10,000 per year, which may be used to help fund any area of need the school determines. Program details, school promotional tools and registration information can be found at http://loaves4learning.com/.

"Supporting education is an investment in our children's future, and especially important at the local level," said Pan-O-Gold Baking Company President Howard R. Alton.
