Pearl River Pastry Company Grows Into New Space

Pearl River Pastry Company is moving to a new 46,000 Square foot facility in West Nyack, NY from its current 18,000 square foot location in Pearl River, NY.  The company manufactures all natural individual desserts, predominantly high-end retail and foodservice cheesecakes, as well as the Abe’s Dairy Free Muffin brand ~ America’s first national brand of dairy-free, Vegan muffins.  In addition to over 42 flavors of cheesecake, Pearl River produces gluten free, no sugar added and vegan, functional food options in their dessert catalog.

With over 1/3 of the American population dairy intolerant, the Abe’s Dairy Free muffin brand is experiencing triple digit growth in the functional foods category.  The Abe’s line of mini and large muffins are dairy-free, nut-free, egg-free, soy, and cholesterol free.  Founders Joseph and Martin Koffman are excited by this move’s potential to bring their all natural desserts to an even wider market and to use their new factory as a showcase for the all-natural bakery category.
